Janet Attends Ralph Lauren fashion show

Janet Jackson was spotted yesterday sitting front row at the Ralph Lauren Spring 2010 show during New York Fashion Week.

The diva’s former record label A&M are releasing a new Janet Jackson greatest hits compilation titled “Number 1’s”, which will be a 2-CD set comprising of a selection of Jackson’s number one hits from all different charts. The album drops November 17th, and the new Darkchild track “Make Me” is rumoured to be the lead single.

From this picture Janet doesn't look up set or down like she did on the vma night. The album i can wait on cus she's nothing I'm checking for.....

Janet and Madonna Set to do a tribute to Micheal together

Two Diva's (well one in my eyes) Madonna and Janet Set to do a tribute to the late great Micheal Jackson According to OK magazine:

“[The MTV VMAs] were a meeting
of two great musical minds. Madonna was so impressed with Janet’s tribute to Michael that they started talking about how great it would be to honour him by doing something together…There was definitely something very interesting being planned between them.”



Madonna this will be interesting to see what she pulls out of her hat. Janet please leave all your tricks and surprises in your hat.. We've had enough of you....

Darkchild To work on Janets New Album

It's about dancing," Jerkins said. "It's all about her. It's about [saying], 'Listen, if you really want to get with me, you gotta make me feel a certain way.' "

Jerkins, who produced several tracks on Janet's 2008 album, Discipline, said he and Ms. Jackson have a lot more songs to come.

"I'm working heavily with Janet," Jerkins said, adding that her new album will have a throwback feel. "We've been in the studio for the last month. We've been getting it in. We're going back to basics and fundamental sounds of Janet. We're trying to target her fans [by making] the records that her fans will embrace. A lot of uptempo stuff makes you feel good. There's so many different colors of Janet. I'm a fan, I've always been a fan of Janet. The Rhythm Nation, the Control, the Janet. record ... those make you feel a certain way. It's been fun. I'm excited about it."

Jerkins was also excited about Jackson's performance in the tribute to her brother on Sunday. "I came to support Janet," he said. "I love what MTV does, but I'm here for Janet. It's a special moment, because I worked for years with Michael and became real close friends with him. For her to do a tribute for him, it's gonna be an amazing thing. It's one thing to get up and perform and get accolades for yourself, but this is not what this is about. It's about brotherly love."

That was a clip of janets tribute. Many say she could have done more but she did what she could it was brave of her to do the tribute herself. Wasnt a fan of the outfit choice. The segment before her was amazing. Her performance did lack energy and she looked angry.
